Terms & Conditions – Victoria (VEU)
Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) rebates are subject to government regulations and may change or end without notice.
Eligibility and rebate values depend on factors including property type, existing hot water system, fuel source, location, and system selected.
Final pricing is confirmed after a site inspection and may vary based on installation requirements, access, electrical or plumbing upgrades, and site conditions.
VEU incentives apply only when the system is supplied and installed by Sufficient Energy or its authorised installers.
All Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) created through the installation must be assigned to Sufficient Energy’s nominated scheme partner.
Customers must sign the required VEU assignment and activity documentation on or before the installation date for rebates to be applied.
If VEU documentation is not completed or eligibility cannot be confirmed, the customer may be required to pay the full installation cost.
Any additional work identified during inspection or installation (including but not limited to electrical upgrades, access issues, or relocation requests) may incur additional charges.
If the customer is not present, access cannot be provided, or the site is deemed unsafe, the installation may be cancelled and a call-out or rescheduling fee may apply.
Tenants must provide written landlord approval prior to scheduling installation.
Customer information may be shared with scheme administrators or regulators for compliance, auditing, and reporting purposes in accordance with our privacy policy.
All goods and services are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to applicable guarantees, remedies, or compensation as required by law.
